Composite (white) Filling

It is important to follow the instructions below to speed healing. Note that some discomfort and swelling are normal after surgery.

When an anesthetic has been used, your lips and tongue may be numb for several hours after the procedure. You may chew gum with your composite as soon as the anesthetic wears off completely.
